For those who like to keep their feet on the ground

If working out, even on vacation, is important to you, without missing out on the beautiful scenery around you, the paths and roads of the Coast are ideal for doing sports while staying in close contact with nature.

  • Trekking is within everyone's reach: there are trails of all degrees of difficulty on the Coast, both for the well-trained and for beginners. These mountain walks are always spectacular: you can admire breathtaking views, with the colorful villages overlooking the sea of the Gulf of Salerno. Among the most fascinating, I recommend the very famous Sentiero Degli Dei (Path of the Gods), the romantic Sentiero dei Limoni (Lemon Path) and the wild Valle delle Ferriere (Ferriere Valley). On the other hand, if you are looking for less traveled but equally exciting trails, those of the Ziro Tower and the Sanctuary of the Avvocata are definitely worth considering.
  • Do you dream of biking the winding roads of the Amalfi Coast? This is also possible! Some tour operators organize guided bike tours either from Sorrento to the Coast or in the opposite direction. The route is long and the roads are full of hairpin bends, so bike tours are recommended for the more trained!

For those with their heads in the clouds

If air is your element and you are not afraid of heights, the Coast will not disappoint!

  • Climbing is a daring sport, suitable for the bravest athletes. The rock walls of the Coast are perfect for practicing it, especially on the Sentiero degli Dei (Path of the Gods) and in Montepertuso, a mountainous hamlet of Positano.
  • In Furore, on the other hand, there is the possibility of literally throwing oneself into the void... but in total safety! In fact, among the most popular experiences for young people is the Zipline, a real cable car consisting of a steel cable connecting two different points. You will be provided with a helmet, harnessed to a pulley and fly from the Fjord of Furore to Conca dei Marini in a minute and a half of pure adrenaline!
  • A mixture of water and air sports, Parasailing is a new addition. It is practiced with a sail, which allows the user to hover in the air by taking advantage of the speed of the boat towing him or her. Since one is provided with all safety equipment, it is an activity suitable for anyone, even those who cannot swim. Flying over the sea in front of the Coastal villages you will have a view of exceptional beauty in front of you- it is a unique experience!

For those who feel at one with the sea

Finally, if you don't want to miss a single day at the beach this summer, know that on the beaches of the Amalfi Coast you can also indulge in a variety of water sports, from the quietest to the most exciting.

  • The more sedate will surely appreciate a canoe ride off the coast villages. On many beaches you can rent a canoe or kayak that will allow you to observe the blue sea below and the beauty of the towns perched on the coast.
  • Among the most popular activities is the combination "boat tour + snorkeling," which can last from a couple of hours to half a day, and is affordable for everyone. Along the boat tour you will see the most beautiful beaches of the Coast, some natural points of interest such as caves and rocks shaped by the sea, and you will finally go snorkeling so you can observe the underwater flora and fauna.
  • Those who want to dive further into the blue can also engage in scuba diving. Again, the experience is suitable for everyone, since you are accompanied at all times by professionals who will teach you the basics of the sport. Some of these ventures even issue the first level of scuba certification.

In short, there is no need for sportsmen to give up their passions while vacationing on the Amalfi Coast! Find the activity that suits you and enjoy the experience!
